On receiving payment for your SA031 Working Safely in a Multi Dwelling Unit, an email with your ‘course joining instructions’ is sent to you.
Your joining instructions include the following details:

- Address of your chosen venue, including a map screenshot
- Details of what to do if you need any special requirements to complete the course
You need to bring photographic ID, such as a driver’s license or passport with you.
Lunch is not included, so please provide your own.

Assessment and Certification
This qualification will be assessed through a practical and theory test.
Certification
This Smart Awards certificate is valid for 3 years, you will then need to complete the course again or attend a refresher course if available, to renew your qualification.
NOPS Card

When the card is scanned by employers or site managers with granted access, they will be able to securely view all the information about your awards qualifications, including when the course was taken and what the expiry dates are.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the SA031 Working Safely in a Multi-Dwelling Unit course, you must have completed the following:
- SA007 – Asbestos Awareness or recognised equivalent
- SA029 – Working Safely in a Single Dwelling Unit
- SA030 – Fire Stopping Installation
Anyone over the age of 16 years can take this qualification.
