Who is SA030 – Fire Stopping Installation training for?
This accreditation is aimed at those within the telecommunications industry installing fibre connections within multi-occupancy buildings. This is a prerequisite course to attend the SA031 – Working Safely in a Multi Dwelling Unit.
Importantly, SA030 is offered as a standalone qualification, but it is also offered as part of a combined pathway with SA029 Working Safely in a Single Dwelling Unit and SA031 Working Safely in a Multi‑Dwelling Unit.

This Smart Awards certificate is valid for 3 years. You will then need to complete the course again or attend a refresher course if available to renew your qualification.

This qualification is available to anyone over the age of 16.
There are no barriers that restrict access or progression, thereby promoting equality. It is expected, however, that learners will have a level of literacy adequate to cope with both the theory and practical assessments.
