The N27 One Fibre Network (OFN) Cabling in the Overhead Network course focuses on the practical aspects of provisioning and repairing Overhead (OH) fibre cables. It is particularly suited for engineers and contract partners working on Openreach’s overhead fibre optic network, thereby ensuring delegates understand and apply current working practices and specifications. Through hands-on training, delegates will gain the knowledge and skills to work with Connectorised Block Terminals (CBT) and Ultra Light Weight (ULW) fibre and will practice completing complex cabling tasks while following Openreach’s stringent safety and operational requirements. Ultimately, the course fully prepares delegates to mount and position CBTs and ULW fibre along overhead poles and route cables accurately to achieve safe fibre optic network installations.
