N26 One Fibre Network FTTP Strategic UG Build Course Content

Notably, the training takes place over 4 days, while 1 day is allocated to the questionnaire and practical assessment. If you are a novice, you have the option to either complete the full four days of training or just complete the assessment. Trainers will guide delegates in completing the tasks below to Openreach’s quality standards, using the appropriate tools, equipment, and working practices. The course consists of two sections.

You will cover the following content on your N26 One Fibre Network FTTP Strategic UG Build open course:

Section 1:

  • Install No Drill bracket and Mobra mount
  • Position the large node on the Mobra
  • Feed the COF600 into the large node and loop it through
  • Install 4/7BFT
  • Mount the UG CBT on the pivot arm/Mobra and connect the tail to the large node
  • Introduce COF215 to feed the small/medium node
  • Install 2 x 32 splitters
  • Complete the necessary splicing tasks

Section 2:

  • Install a small/medium node temporarily on a pole
  • Feed the COF215 into the small/medium node and loop through
  • Mount a CBT on the pivot arm/Mobra bracket and connect the tails to the small/medium nodes
  • Install 2 x 32 splitters
  • Complete the required splicing tasks
