What to expect from your course
On your S007 PIA Sub Duct and Cable Installation course in Horley, you will cover the key skills needed to install sub-ducts and cables in Openreach’s underground network, including duct identification, cable routing, and safe working practices. Training combines classroom learning with hands-on experience. On successful completion, you’ll be certified to work within the Openreach infrastructure. Any queries, please contact us.
Equipment to bring on the day
You will be required to wear protective clothing. Requirements vary by location, and some centres can be more accommodating, but typically you are required to bring:
- Hi-Vis Clothing
- Safety Boots
- Safety Helmet (with 4 point chin strap)
- Gloves
- Eye protection
