What is the Confined Space Entry training course?
This one-day confined space entry course enables delegates to work in NC1, NC2 and NC3 (up to and including medium-risk) confined spaces. This is an in-house accreditation, suitable for those working within the construction industry. If you need a specific accreditation body such as City & Guilds, please look at our City & Guilds Confined Space training. You will develop an understanding of the knowledge and safe work practices for reducing risks when entering and working in confined space environments. The course will equips you with the skills to work in confined spaces individually and as part of a team, whilst gaining an understanding of the use of confined space equipment within a working environment.
Typical confined space environments include: undercrofts & service ducts which are of a ‘simple’ nature. Other forms of confined space entries are tunnels, manholes, vaults and open ditches. The Confined Space Entry training covers information on the various forms of confined spaces and how to safely work in them.
