Should I do a NEBOSH General Certificate?
PSS support you through your NEBOSH General Certificate
The NEBOSH General Certificate is the equivalent to an A-level qualification and as such requires hard work and dedication to obtain the necessary results. With that said, it offers huge benefits to the delegates both through the course content and through the receipt of the qualification and the career progression it can offer. All jobs in health and safety will require a safety related qualification such as the NEBOSH General Certificate but equally, operational management roles will also seek this qualification in applicants. Therefore, irrespective of the industry you work in, your level of experience or previous qualifications, this course will offer huge benefits and no doubt go on to open many doors for you.
Dedicated Learning Advisor
To help ensure NEBOSH courses remain among the most respected qualifications around the world, they’ve introduced a set of standards that must be met by all Learning Partners. They’ve also added a grading system of Bronze, Silver and Gold so training partners that choose to go above and beyond the standards set out are recognised. Now you can make an informed decision when selecting a Learning Partner for your NEBOSH course. Project Skills Solutions are dedicated, with our Gold Level Learning Partner status, to supporting our delegates through the process of achieving their NEBOSH qualification. That is why we have a dedicated person on our team who can provide assistance and encouragement to those who book their NEBOSH General Certificate course with us.
Joanne Williams is here to help
Once you have started your NEBOSH journey, Joanne will be your dedicated Learning Advisor and your main point of contact throughout. She will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Joanne has been with Project Skills Solutions since 2017 and schedules the NEBOSH courses. She also registers you for the exam and conducts your closing interview over Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
This is what Joanne had to say:
I am your administrative point of contact throughout your NEBOSH National General Certificate qualification. As your Dedicated Learning Advisor, I will be here to guide, support and listen through every step of the process. I will keep you up to date with exam dates and times as well as send relevant information regarding the course with little reminders about your NG2 submission deadline. If you need a little chat to ease your nerves just drop me an email or call, together we can achieve your qualification. I will be there to congratulate you once you achieve your qualification.
I often get asked by delegates “how can I prepare myself before undertaking the NEBOSH NGC? Are their documents I can read or websites I can visit?”. The best advice I always say is time. Everything required to achieve your NG1 and NG2 will be taught during your training course, however time and management of your time is difficult to teach. My advice before you undertake the NGC qualification would be…. clear your calendar for the duration of the qualification, be prepared in advance so you can dedicate the time required to achieve your qualification.
Why should I invest in a NEBOSH qualification?
NEBOSH has been the leading health and safety examination body in the UK for decades as well as carving out an impressive international reputation for excellence. If you would like more guidance on where a NEBOSH GC could take you in your career, NEBOSH have a handy guide that you can download from their website.
The NEBOSH General Certificate qualification can be delivered either in a classroom environment in person or in a virtual classroom via a platform like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Either delivery method will suit all learning styles as both courses are delivered fully interactively, with full learner participation and by tutors with exceptional reputations for obtaining excellent results. Project Skills Solutions has the gold level standard awarded to them by NEBOSH by going through extensive auditing and the rigorous verification processes.
